How to get it
Keep your confirmed itinerary and evidence of an unavoidable obstacle. Ask immigration before expiry whether a departure extension or another procedure is available. For final departure, confirm card return and employer/EPS obligations; this permission is not a new work entitlement.

Before you submit

  1. Confirm the exact subtype and current notice with HiKorea / 1345; name both your current and requested status.
  2. Check the receiving office, online availability, appointment, fee, originals/copies, translations and authentication before obtaining documents.
  3. Submit through the official service. Keep the receipt, answer requests for more evidence and check the decision. A checklist tick is preparation, not approval.
