How to get it

State both exact subcodes, nationality and your immigration history. Ask whether you can apply inside Korea or need the consular route. The documents below prepare a discussion/application only after this is established.

How to get it

Bring the original for a visit and the identity-page copy/scan requested by the receiving service. Check expiry.

How to get it

Bring your current card, if issued. For F-4 use the domestic residence card. Tell the office if it is lost.

Landlord, dormitory or host

How to get it

Prepare a lease, dormitory certificate or accommodation confirmation for your actual address. Use the housing selector for the usual supporting papers.

Photo studio or your own compliant photo

How to get it

Use a recent photo meeting the receiving office’s passport-photo rules. Registration/card issue normally requires a photo taken within six months; ordinary stay extensions do not automatically require a new card photo.

Employer or sponsoring organisation

How to get it

Ask HR for the business registration copy and, if required, corporate registry or organisation identification certificate. This is the employer’s document.

National Tax Service / Hometax / tax office

How to get it

Request 소득금액증명 for the tax year required by your route. 납세증명 is a different certificate about tax-payment status. The office may check shared records with your consent.

Parent company, investment bank / registration body or business

How to get it

D-7: request dispatch orders and the foreign/Korean company relationship. D-8: identify the investment or startup subtype and obtain investment/registration or programme evidence. D-9: obtain the relevant trade/business-performance records. Ask which accounts, tax and workplace papers apply.
